I had an amazing experience with Chirag and Patel. Their marriage proposal took place at the Marriot Hotel in Plano Texas.
The beautiful park outdoors was full of lights, romance and gorgeous Christmas deco and amazing trees. Had a great time scanning the place then coming back to shoot what we planned. Another bride took a part of it by pretending I was her photographer and posed for us haha...this is what I love about what I do. Chirag and Patel you are gorgeous couple and it was a pleassure to enjoy your day, hugs for you! A few days ago I had the chance to shoot this gorgeous woman Darlene at one of the most historic places in Texas at Main street. here is a sneak peek of that session, can't wait to shoot there again!
As I am growing in life...I pay attention to the things that matter. Small things like, light..nature, colors that express energy and happiness. I feel blessed and feel that God and my mom are watching over me every single day. Yesterday I had the chance to get an answer to a question I've had for so many years. This post is dedicated to "Maria". My assistant manager came to me with pain in her heart and shared that her aunt just passed, she died of liver cancer. The thing is that I was told she had no chemo and not knowing what followed that I listened to Denice tell me the story. Maria, passed the same way my mom did, and I'm sorry to share this but people who had someone go through cancer will probably also find this as an answer to her question. Mary was diagnosed with liver cancer only five weeks before she died, She was on the final stage. As some people know my mom passed of the same disease but it was stomach cancer. My mom was the most noble person you would have ever met, always thinking of others before herself. For such a long time I have been wondering if it was the chemo that killed my mom not the cancer, since many times people die of something else as the cause of death. Mary was not being able to swallow any more food due to the lymph nodes inflammation which happens when the cancer reaches the blood in the body at the final stage. When my mom passed she had the same problem her lymph nodes did not allow her to eat but I used to think it was the chemo that caused that not the cancer. When my assistant manager said she did not go through chemo at all, a ll my questions were answered... I finally knew for sure it was the cancer that took my mom. Today I pray for Mary, who had suffered as my mom did and for many others who suffer form diseases., I'm sure many of us agree that good people don't deserve this kind of death. But just remember this is temporary; as God says while evil exists we will suffer in this world... but heaven awaits... and for now we have time to seek God while we are here, I'm sure you think that he is the kind of God who is away and doesn't care but the truth is, I have personally felt his protection and love, will share about it soon, so let me just say that he wants us to get close to him and bless us, and even though we still live in this world let's not forget that "heaven is waiting for us..." and as for me I can't wait to see heaven....and my mom. "IN MEMORY OF MARIA AND MOM"" " . . . H E A V E N I S C L O S E . . . "
SNEAK PEEK....another of my adventures in Texas, riding day, deer ....bikes love, a little surprise company but oh well there they are, I will call this chapter the "Dance of the crickets"...this was taken on Tuesday in Dallas, I can;t believe a flower that is dry can look so beautiful and peaceful!! it's what i love about life .. the rest is coming soon!
Today I went on a road trip around Texas, I went through Plano and the weather oh my...beautiful sunny dry weather..just the way I like it! You feel like being at the pool all day, but instead I appreciated the view, the clouds look like conton candy so much that you want to eat them. All full of bridges and light, and a blue sky. Texas has a lot of places that you can use for photo shoots as well as historical places, and fun places for entertainment even in small towns like these. Nothing beats good company too. It made me feel alive and think of how much I appreciate life, it made me think about my new goals and the future. And I couldn't help but sticking my hands out to feel the air as I did when I was little and my dad took us to the beach...good times. I miss mom so much I know she's up there waiting for me like a queen she must be decorating the place with her beauty and inocence. It was a special day today. The Best is yet to come!
Joanna and Tommy met at work, at the beginning he was interested and Joana took her time but she fell into his charms, since they both have christian values they decided to think of a name with special meaning for his baby, so they named him Dylan Daniel. Dylan: influence, born near the sea Daniel: judgement of God. I am happy to announce Dylan Daniel is now with us! he was born this month and parents couldn't be happier! one of these pictures was dedicated to Joana for mothers day on facebook where they enjoyed every sneak peek. to Joana, Tommy and Dylan Daniel more blessings to you and many years to come! Dedicated to Joanna for Mother's Day,,,on facebook and to my mom, thanks to her who is an inspiration to help with the research to find a cure for cancer
Still the next day. . . still . . . the week surprises me. Today I got good news! :) I feel awesomely happy. Sometimes we put so much effort in something and we don't feel appreciated for what we do or give. We spend our lives and time trying to be the best we can and nobody seems to notice. Have that happened to you or is it just me? . . . I don't want to extend too much but I have just been rewarded in a certain way. It's just amazing, the little things that can cheer up your day, and it reminds me that if you believe and "don't give up" . . . one day sooner than you think, the day you are waiting for will come and it can surprise you as it did with me :) this applies to all kinds of areas in your life, work, love, relationships, etc. "For life . . .for love . . . for appreciation and a rewarding moment . . . for all this "CHEERS"!. I'm so thankful . . . and may I just say . . . " T H E B E S T I S Y E T T O C O M E " Thank you God for blessing."ME"A while ago my life changed...for what I thought to be bad but as you may have heard, "time heals everything" . I never knew but life throws surprises to us all and as you recover from those bad times in life, you also learn to appreciate small things... like a sunny day and the nature around us. It was one of those days. Just a beautiful relaxing day in company of great friends and someone special. When you think everything couldn't go worse...there it is again, a "rainbow". . . of colors, sunshine and new things that make your life better. . . the simplicity of life happening as it is. Me and my camera . . . ready to go shoot a ride. Of motorcycles, that is. Steve : ) "And so like the song says . . ." " Y O U R D R E A M S C A N C O M E T R U E "
